Shipping, Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.

  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Teuscher Chocolates usually ships within 24 hours (business days only) of receipt of ordering information - please note that processing times can increase before major holidays so please allow extra time.

    In order to ensure the freshness of the chocolates we try to avoid shipping over weekends during warm seasons. Therefore, if you place an order after Wednesday (or Thursday for local and Overnight orders), it will be shipped the following Monday.

    If you would like your order to be received on a particular day, please enter your comments in the Special Instructions section during checkout. Our default shipping mode is 2 Day Fedex , our shippers indicate delivery within 2 business days of shipping date - Fedex Express Saver is a 3 business day option. If you require Saturday Delivery, the shippers charge an extra $15.00 (only available for Priority Overnight services), please indicate in the Special Instructions section.

    UPS Ground shipping during warm seasons is only available to the following states: MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, ME, NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, NC , SC WV, OH, IN, IL. This mode has no time guarantee and will usually be delivered within 1 business day in New England and 2 days for the rest of the states listed. Since Ground mode deliveries are not guaranteed by UPS it is safer to choose an Air shipping mode if you require delivery on a specific date.

    When temperatures above 80F are present at the delivery location, please choose the Priority Overnight option to ensure safe delivery of the chocolates before 10:30 AM to most locales. We will ship in ice as necessary during the summer months for all Air shipping modes ($3.50 extra charge for Ground shipments). Teuscher Chocolates is not responsible for melting during shipping.

    We use either Fedex or UPS to deliver your order, therefore we cannot ship to PO Boxes.
    Please ensure that you provide us with correct and complete delivery address information as we cannot be liable for undelivered orders that result from incorrect address information. Please be aware that cancelled orders may incur a 15% restocking fee for decorative box orders. Because of the perishable nature of our chocolates we cannot accept returns.   • International
  • Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

    Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. TEUSCHER CHOCOLATES is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
